In refrigeration and AC systems, a flared connection may be required where equipment, such as pressure switches, filter-driers, etc have to be replaced for service purposes. Usually, the traditional hand-made flared end to the copper tube is the weak spot and therefore some countries have completely forbidden to apply such connections, if the collar has not been machined as it is with REFFLEX^® items.

REFFLEX^® ODS x Flare connectors with brass nipples and stainless steel nuts.

REFFLEX^® offers a full range of solid machined flared connectors in the sizes 1/4" until 3/4" ODS (7/16" until 7/8" UNF) with brass nipples and solid stainless steel nuts. These can be applied together with the usual (standard) copper gaskets B2-4 (1/4") until B2-12 (3/4").
